Well, it's over. I have to do all my homework today. :C

My mom was just reminiscing that in Poland, today would be the Day of the Dead. We would go out to the cemetery and put flowers and candles with pine leaves so it smelled all foresty. And at night the cemetery would be all lit up and eerie yet calm.
I remember, when I was very young, the Day of the Dead. We put our things on our graves and then I wandered off to look at all the gravestones and the stuff they put out. It was fun, you know ar the stuff they put out. It was fun, you know in a kid's way, it was like a maze.
And hearing my mom talk about it made me want it. It seems, not fun, but much more fulfilling a feeling than Halloween. Halloween seems so ridculous now, although I still admire the scary and spooky aspect of it. But the candy thing is just bleh now. The Day of the Dead sounds so spiritual and meaningful. I miss Europe...
